The square image in the painting was created by repeatedly polishing the painted area down to the layer of support, and then painting over it again in the same way.
パネルは２つのパーツから構成して作られており、その形が接している物理的な線は絵の中のラインとして取り込まれ、描かれた線と次元の違いによる空間を示している。画中の四角いイメージは、描いたところを一度支持体の層まで磨いて落としてしまい、また同じようにその上から描くということを繰り返してできている。
